The Celebration

The Celebration

I woke up early Wednesday morning in Copenhagen, to the happy news that my luggage had arrived. I don’t know where it had been, and I don’t really care anymore. It’s here, and I’m happy about that. On Tuesday night, I spent time hanging out with some of the industry pals who had just arrived, and warned them all that I may be wearing the same clothes all week. I was half-joking. After all, it doesn’t take much to find an H&M store in this part of the world. All is good, no need to get Mads (Mikkelsen).

So, with newly-arrived clothes, it’s time to start CPH:DOX with a bang. I’m headed out to take a few meetings and participate in the pitching forum. So far, I’m the only American around, though I did hear whispers this morning of U.S. filmmaker/new media guru Lance Weiler sleeping in Jamie King’s hotel room while he waits for his to be available. Otherwise, lots of Brits and Canadians and Danes and herring.
