Classy move from a usually shameful organization.

And in all honesty, the Grammy nominations are without too much embarrassment for the first time in a while. Lots of Radiohead, Adele and Duffy love, nominations for Robyn, Kings of Leon, Hot Chip and M.I.A. (even though wasn’t “Paper Planes” eligible seven years ago?) Certainly not a perfect lineup, but I understand music’s remarkable subjectivity and its hard to really represent a whole year of work in five nominee categories. So, I won’t even bother going on about some errors in judgement (cough, Jonas Brothers, cough) and just let it all be.
