"Gomorrah," "Bashir" Among BAFTA's Foreign Nominees

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) have announced their 2008 nominees for Best Film Not In The English Language. They are “The Baader Meinhof Complex,” “Gomorrah,” “I’ve Loved You So Long,” “Persepolis” and “Waltz With Bashir.” BAFTA’s full list of nominations will be announced next Thursday, January 15th. The winners will be announced during a ceremony on Sunday, February 8 at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden.
