This year’s Panorama section of the Berlin International Film Festival has finalized its programming, presenting 17 feature films in its Main Programme, 15 in Panorama Special, and 16 in its Panorama Dokumente series. Thirty-five of the films are world premieres, while 13 are directorial debuts. Five films will be shown as Celebration Presentations (“30 Years of Programming”.) For 10 Years Panorama Audience Award, we will also be re-screening the winning films of the past decade.
As previously announced, the Main Programme will open on February 5 with Danish director Rie Rasmussen’s “Human Zoo.” On February 6, the Panorama Special will open with Rune Denstad Langlo’s “Nord” (North), and the Panorama Dokumente will screen two films, Mike Bonanno, Andy Bichlbaum and Kurt Engfehr’s “The Yes Men Fix The World” and Udi Aloni’s “Kashmir: Journey To Freedom.”
