Visit Films Takes Global Rights to Sundance's "Kimjongilia" and "Little Dizzle"

Worldwide rights to Sundance world doc competition film “Kimjongilia” and Spectrum title, “The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle” have been a picked up by Visit Films, the company announced Saturday. “Kimjongilia” will have its world premiere Sunday, January 18, while “Dizzle” will debut the following day. Visit will commence international sales of the film at the upcoming European Film Market.

David Russo’s “The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle” focuses on Dory who loses his job at a data-management company and can only find work as a janitor. It looks like his life is going down the drain. To make matters worse, he and his toilet-cleaning colleagues become unwitting guinea pigs in a misguided corporate experiment. But as a strange new life takes shape inside him, Dory learns that sometimes you don’t find meaning, meaning finds you.

Director N.C. Heikin’s “Kimjongilia,” meanwhile is a look at the experiences of several defectors from North Korea. The picture the defectors paint is alarming, even for those who keep well informed – a portrait of an entire nation forced to live inthrall, first to god-like dictator Kim Il Song and, after his death, to his son, Kim Jong Il.

Visit Films is an independent film production and sales company based in New York whose mission is to create, produce, and sell unique and interesting independent
American and international films.
