Wolfe Takes “Steam,” “Newcastle”

Wolfe Takes "Steam," "Newcastle"

Wolfe Releasing has announced it has acquired North American rights to several acclaimed gay titles, including Dan Castle’s “Newcastle” and Kyle Schickner’s “Steam.” “Steam” is set at a local gym’s steam room where three very different women (Ally Sheedy, Kate Siegel and Ruby Dee) escape from their troubles. “Newcastle” is based on the real life experiences of director Dan Castle and his integration as a gay teenager into the mostly straight surfer society. Both films will be released theatrically this Spring.
