Cannes Preview

The Cannes buzz is building: Newsweek International hypes My Neighbor My Killer, a film about the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide.

Careful what you wish for. As Quentin Tarantino bores in on making his Cannes deadline for Inglourious Basterds, many of the remaining critics who will be attending won’t be as supportive as they were 15 years ago when he won the Palme d’Or with his second film, Pulp Fiction. It’s inevitable.

Tarantino leads off a stylin’ Cannes package in the TMag which also includes Cannes mover-shaker Charles Finch, a spread on the Hotel du Cap, and Beastie Boy-turned-distrib, Adam Yauch of O-scope.

Update: The photo spread is on the jump.
