Now on DVD: indieWIRE's Film Calendar

It’s headed to Cannes and previewed the summer, and now indieWIRE‘s Calendar section is taking on your living rooms. The section now includes DVD releases, as easily distinguished by the “disc” logo beside each film (versus the “film” logo). Each release’s film page has the same info you may or may not be used to by now: basic information like cast and distributor and synopsis, links to both indieWIRE and other publication’s coverage of the film, an embedded trailer, and the opportunity to comment on and/or rate the film.

We’ve backlogged the calendar all the way back to April for your DVD catch-up needs, and will continue to update on a regular basis (so check back). For your introductory pleasure, here are links to the pages for 10 films being released on DVD this June:

Crossing Over, directed by Wayne Kramer
Dark Streets, directed by Rachel Samuels
Defiance, directed by Edward Zwick
Phoebe in Wonderland, directed by Daniel Barnz
Revolutionary Road, directed by Sam Mendes
Spring Breakdown, directed by Ryan Shiraki
Tokyo!, directed by Joon-Ho Bong, Leos Carax and Michel Gondry
Two Lovers, directed by James Gray
Waltz With Bashir, directed by Ari Folman
Were The World Mine, directed by Tom Gustafson

Check out the whole calendar here. And do let us know if we’ve missed anything.
