The 2009 deadCENTER Film Festival – held in Oklahoma City – came to a close this weekend, and the festival has announced its annual award winners. All winners receive custom trophies by Oklahoma artist, Utopia Joe, and the winner of Best Narrative Feature receives $2500. The winners in the shorts competitions received an encore screening of their film at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art on Sunday, June 14th. The competition films are judged by a large group of film critics, educators and professionals. The Grand Jury Winners are determined by the combined input of dozens of screeners and juried board members.
