HR: Ford Said to Want MPAA Job

Tennesee Democrat Harold Ford is lobbying studios the top job at the MPAA, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In the wake of Dan Glickman’s coming departure, the Hollywood trade said that other candidates for the studio’s DC lobbying post could include, “CA Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Universal Music lobbyist Matt Gerson, Rep. Howard Berman, D-CA., MPAA COO Bob Pisano, the group’s federal affairs guru Michael O’Leary and Disney lobbyist Richard Bates.”
