It is a scalable mountain we have before us,” wrote producer Ted Hope, in an email to friends and colleagues this morning, acknowledging that he’s been delivering a manifest each week lately. “The potential to have greater awareness, access, and appreciation of a complex and diverse contents whose (multiple) creators are fairly compensated for their work is within our reach. Particularly if we are willing to collaborate.”
“Cinema is a driving force in my life,” Hope said, in his speech at London’s Power to the Pixel. “I don’t want it to leave us, nor do I want to have to leave it behind.” He also recently wrote about audience collaboration and community sustainability.
“Please read these when you get a chance,” Hope encouraged in the email, “Pass them on. Engage in the conversation. Curate. Follow and subscribe. Participate. Write something and I will post it. But please engage.”
