SHORTSNONSTOP Fest Names Winners

CFC (Canadian Film Centre) and SHORTSNONSTOP Mobile Movie Festival, presented by TELUS, has announced the winner of its second yearlong competition for films produced for online or mobile distribution. The winning film is “The Black Hole” by the UK’s Phil and Olly. The winning film receives $1500 from the foundation and distribution on various outlets, including the CFC’s Worldwide Short Film Festival. The finalists for this competition are: Linda V. Carter’s “Deep in the Night” (Canada), Pter Vadocz’s “Matera” (Hungary), Mike Salva’s “Back to Life” (USA), Dan Blacker’s “The Lighthouse” (UK), Alli Sadegiani’s “Greed” (Sweden), Stephen Irwin’s “Atomic Hubbub” (UK), Jacob Migikovsky’s “Florentines” (USA), Nicolas Duarte’s “Fade In” (USA), and Patrick Zimmerman’s “Bang” (USA).
