Boston Critics Go for The Hurt Locker, Renner, Streep

Sunday is a big day for critics voting. We expect the Los Angeles Film Critics, AFI, and New York Film Critics Online, which is awarding most of their prizes so far to Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, to announce their winners today.

So far the NY Film Critics Online have awarded four prizes to Inglourious Basterds and one each for Crazy Heart, Precious and 500 Days of Summer.

The Boston Society of Film Critics jumped on the Hurt Locker bandwagon. My instinct now is that Jeremy Renner is forging ahead of Michael Stuhlbarg for the fifth best actor Oscar slot. Here’s the Detroit nominees. The full Boston list is on the jump:
