Newmarket has acquired rights to Spencer Susser’s “Hesher” here at the Sundance Film Festival, according to Deadline.com. The site said that the pact included, “a low 7-figure price and an ‘aggressive’ P&A commitment.”
Called “exceptionally disjointed and messy” in an indieWIRE dispatch from the film’s first Sundance screening last week, “Hesher” has a C+ grade from a half dozen critics and bloggers who have surveyed the film for indieWIRE.
