Newmarket Deal for "Hesher" at Sundance

Newmarket has acquired rights to Spencer Susser’s “Hesher” here at the Sundance Film Festival, according to Deadline.com. The site said that the pact included, “a low 7-figure price and an ‘aggressive’ P&A commitment.”

Called “exceptionally disjointed and messy” in an indieWIRE dispatch from the film’s first Sundance screening last week, “Hesher” has a C+ grade from a half dozen critics and bloggers who have surveyed the film for indieWIRE.
