IFC Films Nabs "Stolen" Mystery-Thriller

North American rights to Anders Anderson and Andy Steinman’s mystery thriller “Stolen” starrng Josh Lucas (“Glory Road”) and Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”) have been picked up by IFC Films. The distributor’s Lizzie Nastro and Arianna Bocco negotiated the deal with Chris Perry at Arclight. IFC Films will release the film via its IFC in Theaters platform with the feature appearing on VOD on March 3rd followed by a theatrical release at New York’s Clearview Chelsea in New York on March 12 and at the Sunset 5 in Los Angeles on March 19.

“Stolen” – formerly known as “Stolen Lives – centers on a small-town police chief who works to uncover the truth behind the mummified remains of a boy found in a box, buried for 50 years. James Van Der Beek (“Varsity Blues”) and Rhona Mitra (“Underworld: Rise of the Lycans”) co-star, and “Crash” actor Glenn Taranto, who wrote the script, also appears in the film. This marks the feature film debut for director/producer team Anderson and Steinman and their production company A2 Entertainment.

This is a great movie for our theatrical and VOD platforms.”
