The 34th Cleveland International Film Festival is set to open March 18 with Jac Schaeffer’s romantic comedy “TiMER.” Starring Emma Caulfield, John Patrick Amedori, Michelle Borth and JoBeth Williams, “TiMER” posits a world in which a device implanted in a person’s wrist counts down to the day the wearer finds true love. When a woman is faced with the dilemma of a blank TiMER, however, she sets out to find love on her own terms. The festival’s opening night gala includes a 7pm screening of the film at Tower City Cinemas, followed by a “TiMER” party at 9pm at MK Ferguson Plaza in Tower City Center, with guest Jac Schaeffer. In all, more than 300 films will be shown during the course of the Cleveland International Film Festival between opening night and February 28. For complete information and tickets, which go on sale to the general public on March 5, visit the CIFF’s official website.
