"Toy Story 3" and Bruckheimer's "Persia" Headed to ShoWest

Disney/Pixar’s “Toy Story 3” and Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” will both be headed to Las Vegas for ShoWest 2010. ShoWest, the motion picture industry’s largest annual convention, will run from March 15-18, 2010. “We are thrilled that Disney has decided to bring two outstanding films to ShoWest 2010,” said ShoWest Managing Director Robert Sunshine. “The opportunity to showcase the story of Prince of Persia and the beloved characters of Toy Story 3 in front of the important professionals of the motion picture industry and owners of theatres demonstrates the significance of this audience to forthcoming blockbusters; and we expect that Disney will only exceed our expectations as they have in years past.”

“Toy Story 3,” which follows Andy as he goes off to college, will also feature the voices of Michael Keaton (as Barbie’s Ken) and Timothy Dalton (as a hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants), will be released in the U.S. on June 18, 2010 in 3D. “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a prince who must safeguard an ancient dagger that is the key to releasing the Sands of Time, which has the power to reverse time and give its holder the power to rule the world. “Prince of Persia” hits U.S. theaters on May 28, 2010.
