The best movie taglines from the last 30 years

AdFreak has compiled their list of what they believe to be the “66 Great Movie Taglines From The Last 30 Years.” The list has some taglines that are classic (“Be afraid. Be very afraid.” from the 1986 version of The Fly) and some that I never knew existed (“The thing that won’t die, in the nightmare that won’t end” isn’t quite as catchy as “I’ll be back” when it comes to The Terminator). Due to the year restrictions (1980 is where these start), they were unable to add the most famous movie tagline ever, “In space, no one can hear you scream,” from Alien (1979). However, AdFreak did manage to include an Alien-related tagline that was better than the actual film: “Whoever wins, we lose” from Alien vs. Predator (2004). But did they really feel the need to include two almost identical taglines from films released only two years apart: “Earth. It was fun while it lasted” from Armageddon (1998) and “Earth. Take a good look. It could be your last” from Independence Day (2006). Thankfully, they did include a tagline that still resonates far beyond the film (The Highlander) it comes from: “There can be only one.”
