Janus Metz’s “Armadillo”, an Afghanistan war documentary from Denmark, topped Critics Week tonight in Cannes. The film won two awards as the section came to a close in France.
Described as, “An upfront account of growing cynicism and adrenaline addiction for young soldiers at war,” “Armadillo” is the first documentary to screen in competition since the section became competitive twenty years ago.
