LA Goes Greek

The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, a showcase for new films from Greek filmmakers worldwide, has announced the line-up for its 4th edition, taking place June 10-13. LAGFF will present seven narrative features, four documentary features, and five shorts. Included among these are the LA premiere of Yorgos Lanthimos’ critically acclaimed “Dogtooth,” winner of last year’s Un Certain Regard at Cannes; the US premiere of the buzzed about “Black Field,” by Vardis Marinakis; and the US premiere of Filipos Tsitos’ Locarno award winner, “Plato’s Academy,” screening as the event’s closing gala.
