Production company Sidney Kimmel Entertainment (SKE) today announced that veteran producer and film company executive Matt Berenson will serve as the Company’s President of Production.
Berenson comes to SKE following a year a half as Principato-Young Entertainment’s President of Production, where he developed film projects, including “Central Intelligence,” “Bot,” and “One Night Stan.” He also served as president of production at Carsey-Werner Films, and in 2003 produced “Daddy Day Care,” starring Eddie Murphy.
“I look forward to helping Sidney make quality, commercial films across a variety of genres with the next generation of talented, point-of-view filmmakers,” Berenson said in a press statement. “His great eye for talent and distinguished track record speaks for itself.”
Upcoming co-productions with Lakeshore Entertainment include “The Lincoln Lawyer,” starring Matthew McConaughey and Marisa Tomei, and “One For The Money,” starring Katherine Heigl.
