Sean Stone, son of Oliver Stone, has signed a deal with the Robert Evans Company and Henri Kessler’s Pacific Transmedia Corporation to finance “Secretstone,” his first full-length feature film. Pacific Transmedia will also get first-look rights to Stone’s next three films.
“Secretstone,” budgeted at around $2 million, is set in a psychiatric hospital said to be haunted due to its cruel and unusual treatment of patients. Stone Sr will be making a cameo, as will Monique van Vooren; the film stars Sean Stone, Alexander Wraith, and Antonella Lentini. Production will begin in New Jersey this July. [Caitlin Nascher]
