Tatum, Hamill, Lehane Slated for Berkeley Square Films

In Cannes today, Berkeley Square Films announced its upcoming slate, which includes Richie Farrell’s inspirational detox drama, “What’s Left of Us,” starring Channing Tatum; graphic novel adaptation, “The Black Pearl,” by Mark Hamill (“Star Wars”); suspensor “Depravity,” written by acclaimed mystery author Dennis Lehane (“Mystic River,” “Shutter Island”) and Paul Tamasy (“Air Bud”), who will also direct; and greyhound racing drama “Bullet,” by Tamasy and Eric Johnson. BSF plan is to focus on independent projects that afford their filmmakers complete creative autonomy, have tightly controlled budgets, and strong commercial appeal. [Basil Tsiokos]
