"Valentino" Sold To Eight Territories In Cannes

Submarine Entertainment and Acolyte Films announced from Cannes that documentary “Valentino The Last Emperor” has been sold in multiple territories including a deal with Telepool for all German rights being concluded yesterday.

The other deals include Optimum and BBC for UK rights, Medusa in Italy, Nonstop in Scandinavia, ABC/Cinemien for Netherlands and Dutch speaking Belgium, Sogecable in Spain, HBO Latin America and Telepool for Swiss television rights. The sales were handled and negotiated by Josh Braun of Submarine Entertainment on behalf of Acolyte Films with Iddo Arad handling legal. A deal for French rights is expected to be concluded during the Cannes Film Festival

The directorial debut of Matt Tyrnauer, Special Correspondent for Vanity Fair magazine, Valentino The Last Emperor and opened theatrically in the United States last year to almost $2 million in box-office receipts.
