The mystery French actress who is one of the five contenders for the role of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is rising starlet Lea Seydoux. European is good–she may be more fearless about showing her body.
Seydoux stole Christophe Honore’s The Beautiful Person in 2008, points out Variety, which describes her as “a cross between Brigitte Bardot and Anna Karina.” She also co-starred in Inglourious Basterds and Robin Hood and the less well-known Going South.
The man who knows the answer of who will play Salander is David Fincher, who showed up at the Con yesterday with star Paul Giamatti to promote the in-the-works CGI feature The Goon, which he is producing. MTV has footage. Fincher’s seeking a financial backer.
