Robert Bella’s Sundance comedy “Colin Fitz Lives!” will get a VOD release on August 4 through Sundance Selects. The film, a 1997 Sundance Dramatic Competition alum, stars William H. Macy and Martha Plimpton in the story of two security guards hired to watch over the grave of the dead rock legend Colin Fitz. Sundance Selects negotiated the deal with the filmmaker, who remastered the film after buying the rights back from his investors. The film will be available in 40 million homes beginning August 4.
