The second annual Sausalito Film Festival in California’s Bay Area, is set to kick off their program of films and relevant events August 13-15. The festival pairs films with musical performances, panels, and other events relevant to the topics of the films in the lineup. Commenting on the still green festival, founder Antonio Captretta noted, “Sausalito and Cavallo Point provide the ideal backdrop for a premiere film festival experience given its picturesque beauty and creative, nonconformist and infamous past which continues to attract artists, writers, philosophers, rock legends and film stars.” The festival will take place at the sustainable Cavallo Point lodge below the Golden Gate Bridge.
