Town Line Beach, right on the border of East Hampton and Southampton, this evening.
Regulations rule separate sides of this beach and it’s fascinating to note that on the right side of this image is Southampton and on the right, East Hampton. Parking is only available on the East Hampton side and luckily a friend had the appropriate car sticker, allowing us to park. The odd division can cause local splits, as was reported by Hamptons.com. Notably, while East Hampton residents can drive and park at this beach, they shouldn’t bring a pet. Dogs are only allowed on the Southampton side.
