Writers Guild Awards To Host Two Awards Ceremonies

The 2011 Writers Guild Awards, put on by the Writers Guild of America, will be held on February 5th, 2011 at two simultaneous ceremonies in New York and Los Angeles. The Awards honor outstanding writing in film, television, news, radio, promotional, and graphic animation categories.

The eligibility period for both TV and film is below:

TV eligibility period:
Long Form, Episodic, Animation, and Children’s script categories:
First broadcast between Dec 1, 2009 and Nov 30, 2010
All other script categories:
First broadcast between Oct 1, 2009 and Sep 30, 2010

Screen eligibility period:
Theatrically exhibited in Los Angeles for at least one week during 2010
