No Disappointment With 'Alice Creed'

The Disappearance of Alice Creed delivers. This UK-made thriller premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September, and the reaction was unanimous: the film is taut and involving, like only the best suspense stories make you feel. If you’re trying to decide what to watch at the arthouse this weekend, this might be your best decision. There are other specialty films opening on Friday, some strong (the powerful Lebanon) and some tiring (the messy Twelve), but Alice Creed has the most potential to make you leave the theater feeling satisfied.
