Relativity Media Firms Up Release Slate, Adds Three Pictures

Relativity Media is moving forward as Hollywood’s newest distributor, finalizing its 2010-2011 release slate with a mix of Overture, Relativity and Rogue titles and a service deal.

Along with the three Overture pictures that will be released this fall–the Philip Seymour Hoffman drama Jack Goes Boating (September 17, limited), the Matthew Reeves horror remake Let Me In (October 1) and Stone, starring Robert De Niro and Edward Norton (October 8, limited), Relativity will also open:

-Michael Dowse’s coming-of-age comedy Kids in America, which is completed, starring Topher Grace and Anna Faris (Rogue, March 4, 2011).

-Neil Burger’s comic thriller Dark Fields, currently in post-production, starring Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper and Abbie Cornish, from a script by Leslie Dixon about a copywriter who takes a smart drug with super-human side effects (Relativity, March 18).

-Sngmoo Lee’s martial-arts western The Warrior’s Way (released as a service deal from producers Barrie Osborne, Michael Peyser and Jooick Lee), which pits Korean star Dong-gun Jang as an Asian warrior out of his element against American Badlands residents Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush and Danny Huston (December 3).

Rogue’s Sundance pick-up Catfish goes out through Universal on September 17.
