Toronto Update on previous blog

Thank you Amy and Ann for your corrections on Rabbit Hole and Janie Jones:

I think you will find that Fox Searchlight have not been sold Rabbit Hole’s North American distribution rights. If you had indeed READ Ioncinema’s piece on top 20 acquisition target, you would have found Rabbit Hole as number one.

[per SL I did read ion, but I did not remember what I had already written in the blog and I didn’t check back. Sorry and thanks for catching the error!]

Under Janie Jones, which is a Gala Presentation, you state that Unified Pictures picked up the film two weeks prior to Toronto. This is completely wrong. Unified Pictures developed, produced and has held worldwide sales rights throughout the entire production process. CAA was appointed the North American rep in February, 2010.

Just wanted to set the record straight, Sydney.

Per Sydney: I’ve changed the previous blog to reflect these two updates.
