Venice 2010: A Complete Guide to the Festival

The Venice Film Festival kick’s off Wednesday, September 1st with the world premiere of Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan,” leading into eleven days that feature some of the most anticipated premieres of the year, from Sofia Coppola’s “Somewhere” to Julian Schnabel’s “Miral” to Anh Hung Tran’s “Norwegian Wood” and Kelly Reichardt’s “Meek’s Cutoff.”

It’s one of the year’s major international cinematic events and indieWIRE will be offering a variety of coverage over the course of the fest, while Thompson on Hollywood‘s Anne Thompson is already on the scene in Italy.
