Withoutabox Adds Toronto, Hong Kong and Others to its Festival Offerings

Online festival connector Withoutabox has added several more international film festivals to its reportoire of events, which links international filmmakers with film festivals around the world.

The site, a division of IMDb.com, has recently added the Toronto International Film Festival, the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Mar Del Plata International Film Festival, the Melbourne International Film Festival and the Moscow International Film Festival to its roster of film festivals. Withoutabox users can now apply to these festivals directly.

The website, Withoutabox.com, touts its offerings to both filmmakers and festivals, including, “Secure Online Screeners,” which allows rights holders to safely submit films to festivals and for festivals to manage their incoming submissions entirely over the Internet. Additionally, it is possible to fast-track IMDb pages and credits for submitters to Withoutabox partner festivals, allowing rights holders to freely upload videos, photos, posters and more to IMDb.
