Last night, I saw Mark Ronson & The Business Intl play the Music Hall of Williamsburg, and it was terrific. Ronson’s music, and his live shows, are Warhol: the last 25 years of pop music condensed into one raging party. Hip-hop segues into Brit-pop and then into dance and punk. Ronson splits his time between Brooklyn and London, and that juxtaposition penetrates his style. It’s great stuff and their new album, Record Collection, is a must-have.
