You’d think that with the world premiere of two films less than six weeks away I’d be able to focus on the logistics for those premieres or at least finishing up mastering. But no, today was spent in full on tax credit mode. Not that I mind that sort of work (somewhere deep down I’m a big numbers guy, it’s simply time consuming and requires a lot of attention to make sure it’s done correctly. Also, it leads to some interesting revelations. Like a quarter of the salaries on Silver Tongues were paid to minorities, and over a third were paid to women. Interesting yes, but also this is the sort of work one would hope to have finished prior to entering the next stage in a film’s life.
