Top 40 Music Videos of 2010 (includes Sundance selection)

The gang at Pitchfork has collected what they consider to be the top music videos of this year. Not taking the definition of “top” so literally, the list manages to include the trainwreck video for the trainwreck single, “Miracles” by Insane Clown Posse. A horrible song with a horrible video, but easily one of the most memorable this year. Otherwise, this list of 40 includes some of what you would expect (“Runaway” by Kanye West, “Drunk Girls” by LCD Soundsystem, “Telephone” by Lady Gaga and Beyonce) and even a few oddball videos that are either brilliant or ridiculous messes. This league would include “Bombay” by El Guincho and “Heathen Child” by Grinderman. Also on the Pitchfork list is the Das Racist video for “Who’s That? Brooown!” which was announced today as one of the shorts selected for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Check this one out now:
