13th Sarasota Film Festival Kicks Off with "Page One," Locks Down Full Lineup

The Sarasota Film Festival today announced their full lineup for the 13th edition of the event, which kicks off April 8 with Andrew Rossi’s documentary, “Page One: A Year Inside the New York Times,” and wraps April 17 with Mike Mills’ “Beginners.” Errol Morris’ latest, “Tabloid,” serves as this year’s Centerpiece screening.

180 narrative, documentary and short films from 43 countries make up this year’s slate, including Azazel Jacobs’ “Terri,” Peter Richardson’s Sundance winner “How To Die In Oregon,” and Jeanne Labrune’s “Special Treatment,” starring Isabelle Huppert.

In addition to the films, Christopher Plummer will receive The Cinema Master Award, Geena Davis will make an appearance to pick up The Sarasota Film Festival Impact Award and producer Sarah Green (“The Tree of Life,” “Frida”) will be awarded the festival’s Producer’s Award.
