Daft Punk’s ‘Tron: Legacy’ Soundtrack Gets Remixed By M83, The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold & More

Daft Punk's 'Tron: Legacy' Soundtrack Gets Remixed By M83, The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold & More

While the film itself turned out to be a bit of dud, French electro rockers Daft Punk walked away from “Tron: Legacy” with their reputations intact thanks to an ace score that was one of the best of the year. Well, that score is about to get tweaked in a big way.

Pitchfork reveals that a remix album entitled “R3CONFIGUR3D” is on the way and it features some heavy hitters twiddling some knobs. M83, The Crystal Method, Teddybears, Moby, Paul Oakenfold and Photek are among those who will enter CLU. But perhaps more excitingly, this isn’t just some tossed off release. Over at the official website you can choose a variety of formats in which to order it, including a mega box set that includes: “Tron: Legacy” in 2D and 3D on BluRay and DVD; a 128-page comic book; the CD and digital copies of the soundtrack plus a lithograph. Not too shabby, but with the poster, it’ll set you back $99.98.

But if you just want to head to your local music outlet you can do that too. “R3CONFIGUR3D” will hit on April 5th. Check out the full tracklist below.
