Hole To Reunite On Stage For ND/NF's "Hit So Hard" Screening

For the first time in 13 years, “Hole” members Courtney Love, Eric Erlandson and Melissa auf der Maur and Patty Schemel will publicly reunite. The occasion is the New Directors/New Films (ND/NF) screening of P. David Ebersole’s documentary “Hit So Had,” which is a portrait of Schemel, Hole’s drummer during its peak years. The Museum of Modern Art and Film Society of Lincoln Center (which put on ND/NF) announced today that the members of Hole will attend the first of two screenings of the film, this Monday, March 28 at 6:00PM at MoMA.

The film is described as “a pull-no-punches portrait of the hell-and-back life” of Schemel, with an “unprecedented inside look at the one of the Nineties most crucial and controversial groups.” Highlights include home movies and videos never seen before including footage of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love.

Attendees will for screening are officially listed director P. David Ebersole, Patty Schemel, Courtney Love, Melissa auf der Maur and Eric Erlandson, model Jenny Shimizu (who appears in the film), and producers Todd Hughes and Christina Soletti,. A Q&A including the filmmakers and the band will follow the screening.

A second screening will be held at Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater on Wednesday, March 30 at 9:00PM.
