Festival de Cannes '11 Cinéfondation Selection

The 2011 Festival de Cannes Cinéfondation selection, which presents movies from film schools in the framework of the official selection, features 16 graduate films this year from eleven countries, including two animated movies. The lineup was culled from a whopping 1,589 entries originating from 360 film schools.

The Cinéfondation jury, headed by Michel Gondry, will announce the three Cinéfondation prizes on May 20.

The 64th Festival de Cannes runs from May 11 – May 22.
