iPOP | This Week on the Scene: Manhattan, Los Angeles, Sarasota & More!

iPOP was all over the U.S. this week.

In Manhattan, Harvey Weinstein and 50 Cent brought “Scream 4” to the Crosby Street Hotel, the Danish war documentary “Armadillo” held an intimate screening ahead of its U.S. release, “The Conspirator” had a swank New York premiere and Cinereach toasted its emerging filmmakers.

Over in Los Angeles funny lady Wendi McLendon Covey picked up an award at the L.A. Comedy Shorts Fest. Sonoma saw Susan Sarandon drop by to pick up a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 14th Annual Sonoma International Film Festival. And the acclaimed documentary “Page One: A Year Inside the New York Times” kicked off the Sarasota Film Festival.
