The Wolfpack Reunite in Lower Manhattan for "Hangover II"

Going into The Cinema Society and Bing’s screening of “The Hangover Part II” on Monday I had a feeling I was in for surreal night, minus a hangover the next morning (it was a Monday folks).

Zach Braff, donning a pair of shades (indoors no less) and flanked by a tall blonde babe in a white mini, stood ahead of me in the line at the Landmark Sunshine to collect their tickets to the comedy. Pop songstress Ciara, looking very important, brushed by and proceeded to walk down to the theater sans ticket (she’s Ciara). Then once seated I caught a slew of stars that included James Van Der Beek, Patrick Wilson and Dermot Mulroney take their seats, before the Wolfpack (that would be Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis) made their presence known once returning director Todd Phillips introduced the flick and its stars.

Verdict on the sequel? If you liked the first installment, chances are you’ll enjoy the second go-round. It’s the same film, just set in Thailand with more penis jokes and a smoking monkey.

You’d think a film that recounts the horrific events following a drunken night out would lead to a dead bar at the after party. The scene as The Boom Boom Room at the top of The Standard was anything but. The place, with one of the best views in the city, was packed. That didn’t stop everyone from hitting up the bar or crowding onto the tiny slip of a patio for a quick smoke.

Among those that sipped the night away: Bryan Greenberg, Zachary Quinto, Jill Hennessy, Russell Simmons, Jared Kushner, Colin Egglesfield (“Something Borrowed”), Dominic Fumusa (“Nurse Jackie”), Lynn Collins & Steven Strait, David Krumholtz (“Numb3rs”), Scott Adsit (“30 Rock”), Sanaa Lathan, Joe Pantoliano, Christopher McDonald, Eve Plumb, Caroline Rhea, Amanda Setton (“Gossip Girl”), Jason Mantzoukas (“Parks & Recreation”), Analeigh Tipton, Jonathan Groff, Rose Hemingway, Crispin Glover, Ben Shenkman, Samantha Mathis, James Lipton, Daryl Wein, Zoe Lister-Jones, Ben Rappaport, Terry George, Stephanie March & Bobby Flay, Albert Hammond Jr (The Strokes), Ciara, Chrissy Teigen, Hilary Rhoda, Sean Avery, Henrik Lundqvist (NY Rangers), Marcus Schenkenberg, Patricia Field, Jason Wu, Alexandra Richards, China Chow, Candace Bushnell, Nicole Miller, Carol Alt, Jessica Perez, Selita Ebanks, Johnny Weir, Rachel Roy, Sante D’Orazio, Karen Duffy, Kelly Bensimon, Olivia Palermo & Johannes Huebl, Alex Lundqvist, Tyson Ballou, Daniel Benedict, Thom Filicia, Irina Pantaeva, Charlotte Ronson, Celine Rattray, Rosanna Scotto (“Good Day New York”), Dan Abrams, David Zinczenko, Jamie Tisch, Debbie Bancroft, Marina Rust Connor, Renee Rockefeller, Bettina Zilkha, and Cinema Society Founder Andrew Saffir.
