"Contagion" to Open Zurich Film Festival, with Laurence Fishburne as Jury President

Steven Soderbergh’s medical thriller “Contagion” will open the Zurich Film Festival on September 22 and one of the film’s ensemble players, Laurence Fishburne, will serve as the international narrative feature jury president. He will also be honored with a special achievement award.

Charles Ferguson, the Academy-award winning director of “Inside Job,” will head the international documentary jury.

The 2011 Zurich Film Festival runs September 22 – October 2.
