HBO Documentary Films debuts Gloria Steinem: In Her Own Words on August 15. Steinem’s Women’s Media Center is pushing the film as an opportunity for feminist discourse across generations. Steinem, who was a driving force in the modern feminist movement for forty years, hopes the film inspires people to use “their own voices” to forge the next forty years of feminism. The WMC suggest audiences throw a house party to watch the film’s premiere on August 15, participate in a live chat on August 16 and to follow them on Facebook and Twitter (Use #gloria and #WMC).
