Okay, so maybe Canon isn’t really at fault for the wild amounts of publicity its low-cost-high-resolution DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) cameras have gotten as they become the standard for high quality DIY projects, but in “An open letter to Canon,” Australian “aspirational prosumer” Doug Bayne has a few words to say for all those who blame the success of filmmakers (specifically, one commercial photographer Vincent Laforet) on Canon’s cameras.
