"Jeff, Who Lives at Home" To Open Hamptons Film Festival

Jay and Mark Duplass’s “Jeff, Who Lives at Home” will open the Hamptons International Film Festival, it was announced today. Starring Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon, the film will screen at Guild Hall in East Hampton on October 13th.

East Hampton, NY (August 29, 2011) – The Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) is proud to announce that JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME, a Paramount Pictures release, will screen at Guild Hall in East Hampton on October 13th as the Opening Night Film of the Festival.

On his way to the store to buy wood glue, Jeff looks for signs from the universe to determine his path. However, a series of comedic and unexpected events leads him to cross paths with his family in the strangest of locations and circumstances. Jeff just may find the meaning of his life… and if he’s lucky, pick up the wood glue as well.

JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME, stars Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon. Penned by the writer/director team of brothers Jay and Mark Duplass (Cyrus), this is the story of one man searching for the meaning of life while running to the store to buy wood glue.

“As we move into our 19th year, we are honored and excited to bring wonderful filmmaking, storytelling and talent to our audiences,” says HIFF Executive Director Karen Arikian. “We are proud to have the opportunity to launch this year’s Festival with JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME,” adds Arikian.
