The San Sebastian Film Festival, together with the Tabakalera-International Centre for Contemporary Culture, will hold their 10th annual International Film Students Meeting September 21-23 during the festival. The event focuses on the presentation of work from film school students that were originally submitted from 25 different countries.
A jury consisting of one student from each of the competing schools will choose the winner of the Panavision Award, carrying a complete camera package Sony EX III for four weeks of filming. The Jury will also name three candidate directors to participate with their works in the Short Film Corner at the next Cannes Festival.

The meeting will also showcase “We Are Not Living in a Fucking Hospital,” directed by Vappu Tuomisto, from last year’s International Film Students Meeting. The film was a part of the Istanbul Express project, an initiative targeting the production of 15 documentary shorts in which young filmmakers reflect their impressions of a train journey to Istanbul.
