In Time Star Justin Timberlake Invites Photographers To Make Every Second Count

In Time Star Justin Timberlake Invites Photographers To Make Every Second Count

Justin Timberlake is trying–still trying–to parlay his well-earned celebrity status into a movie career.

After never quite scoring in features, in 2010 and 2011 Timberlake did well with supporting roles in global hits The Social Network and Bad Teacher, and co-starred with Mila Kunis in underperforming romcom Friends with Benefits. But can he carry a movie on his own? Timberlake’s breakthrough could be Gattaca and Lord of War writer-director Andrew Niccol’s upcoming spy thriller In Time (October 28, see trailer below), which looks like it has more brain cells than most.

The premise: everyone stops aging at 25, and the richer you are, the longer you live. Timberlake plays a poor man who lives his life minute-to-minute in a world where every second counts. Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, Cillian Murphy and Mad Men‘s Vincent Kartheiser (a baddie, natch) co-star.

As part of the film’s marketing effort, Timberlake and Talenthouse are inviting all cinematographers and photographers to submit a photo that best represents the phrase “Every Second Counts.” The photo can be of anything—there are no creative limitations. The winning photograph will be the official profile picture on Justin Timberlake’s Facebook page (12 million likes) for the month of November 2011, will be featured on his other social media channels, and will be displayed in a pop-up gallery at the L.A. premiere of In Time.
