Tweetable Logline:

When Aaron finds his roommate’s HIV medication, he is thrown into a state of surreal uncertainty.
Elevator Pitch:
BARE centers on Aaron’s reaction to finding HIV medication in his roommate’s drawer. Knowing they share a sexual partner, his world is thrown into turmoil and he recesses into his mind. As his paranoia and denial grow, it becomes difficult to differentiate reality from imagination, lies from the bare truth.
Production Team:
Director: Sean Devaney
Writer: Brandt Miller
Producers: David Vendette & Zachary Barnett
DP: Jonathan Wing
Production Designer: Javier Ameijeiras
About the Production:
“We want to bring the subject of HIV front and center. With a new generation coming of age post-AIDS crisis, the conversation has quieted, a gulf has formed. A sense of distance and stigma has been bred. We don’t seek to provide answers, but instead, shine a light on the issue, to begin a discourse, in a dramatic and unique way.

“BARE covers a 24-hour period of not knowing one’s status, and the paranoia, fear, and confusion of trying to piece together a history of potential exposure. But as reality unravels, the line between reality and imagination is blurred.” — Sean Devaney
